| Obverse description | Printed in orange-brown letterpress on plain paper, the obverse is framed by a Greek key guilloche border with the royal Spanish coat of arms vignette at upper centre, flanked by the inscriptions INTENDENCIA and DE STO DOMINGO. The denomination CINCO PESOS FUERTES appears in bold letterpress within the central text panel, beneath which a handwritten promissory text, the series designation, and a manuscript serial number in cartouches are present. An ink stamp of the Intendencia and three manuscript signatures above their respective title lines complete the authentication elements. |
