Obverse description Left-facing broadside view of the ARA Presidente Sarmiento, the Argentine Navy's former sailing training frigate, now preserved as a museum ship. The vessel is depicted with full rigging, masts, and hull detail rendered in relief against a plain field. The legend REPUBLICA ARGENTINA arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin characters, with a beaded border encircling the entire design.
