Reverse description The Colombian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a vertically divided and horizontally quartered shield surmounted by a condor with wings displayed, clutching a ribbon in its beak; the shield is flanked by two national flags and supported by a laurel branch below. The denomination legend CINCO PESOS arcs along the upper periphery, interrupted by two bullet separators. Along the lower periphery, the weight, fineness, and mint-mark indicators read G.7.988 B LEY 0.916 2/3, separated by bullet points, with the mint-mark letter B appearing directly below the shield. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
