Obverse description Central vignette of José Gervasio Artigas in portrait, set at the centre of the note against an intricate guilloche underprint. The issuer name arcs above in letterpress, with the face value numerals repeated at left and right flanks within ornamental frames. The obligation text and date of issue are inscribed in full across the lower portion of the note.
