Obverse description Horizontally formatted note with the issuer's title 'COMITE BANCARIO DE GUATEMALA' in bold lettering across the upper margin, flanked by large numeral '5' counters at all four corners. The central vignette, executed in fine intaglio, presents two allegorical seated female figures flanking an oval medallion enclosing a quetzal bird, while secondary vignettes in the lower corners depict a sailing vessel at sea (left) and a steam locomotive (right). Reverse description The reverse is printed in blue, with an elaborate guilloche network covering the entire surface and the denomination 'CINCO PESOS' in large bold letters at both the top and bottom margins.
