| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black and brown tones on cream paper. At left, an oval intaglio vignette contains a portrait of a bearded gentleman in formal attire. To the right, an allegorical seated female figure is accompanied by industrial and agricultural motifs. The upper guilloche border carries the bank title 'Banco Provincial de Córdoba – Bono Agrícola-Industrial' and a diagonal 'Sección Hipotecaria' overprint; the central text panel states the promise to pay 'Cinco Pesos Moneda Nacional' at Córdoba, dated 'Enero 1º de 1889', with denomination numeral '5' repeated in each corner. |
