| Obverse description | Central vignette of a cattle slaughter scene with horsemen and dogs before a rural structure, flanked at lower left by an allegorical female figure (mermaid or river goddess) and at lower right by a sailor figure tending a cauldron. Large ornate numeral '5' medallions occupy the upper corners within intricate guilloche framework, with the bank title 'BANCO OXANDABURU Y GARBINO' in bold letterpress across the centre. | Reverse description | Uniformly printed in brown on plain paper, the reverse is dominated by an elaborate engine-turned guilloche border of interlocking repeating patterns surrounding a central rectangular panel. Within the panel, the bank name 'EL BANCO OXANDABURU Y GARBINO' is inscribed in bold serif lettering, with large numeral '5' counters positioned to the left and right of the central cartouche. The overall design is restrained and typographic, relying entirely on lathe-work ornamentation without pictorial vignettes. |
