Obverse description Dark blue intaglio on light blue and yellow underprint, with a seated allegorical female figure holding a shield at left, rendered in a classical vignette style. The issuer's name arches across the top, the face value appears in numerals at all four corners and at centre, and in letters along the lower centre; black series letter and number are printed near the lateral edges, with red serial numbers at upper left and right. A provisional overprint adds the new bank name at top, the equivalent value in Condores above the central vignette, the bank seal to the centre-right, the issuing date of 10 December 1925 below the central denomination, a 'POR EL ESTADO' bar overprint, and the legend 'BILLETE PROVISIONAL' along the bottom.

Reverse description Printed in blue, with a central guilloche medallion bearing a condor within a star. An allegorical male figure holding an axe, symbolising Industry, stands at right. The face value in letters is printed both above and below the central vignette, with the printer's imprint along the lower margin.
