| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Francisco Franco, rendered in high relief with a plain, unadorned portrait style characteristic of Francoist-era coinage. The truncated bust occupies the central field, with the Madrid Mint mark (crowned M) and the reissue year 2002 visible to the lower left of the portrait.
