| Obverse description | Printed entirely in dark blue on cream paper, the obverse is framed by a geometric border composed of interlocking circular guilloche patterns on the lateral edges and ruled parallel lines along the top and bottom. The centre carries a large oval medallion with a fine cross-hatched underprint, enclosing the denomination numeral '5' above the word 'PESETAS' and surmounted by the legend 'VALE POR'.
