| Reverse description | A large eight-pointed star in high relief dominates the central field, enclosing a six-pointed star (Seal of Solomon) at its centre within a raised circle. The triangular interstices of the star are decorated with floral sprigs and flowing arabesque motifs. An outer octagonal border frames the composition, with the denomination numeral 5 to the left and the abbreviation P.S. to the right in Latin characters. The Quranic motto la ghalib illa Allah (There is no conqueror but God) and additional Arabic religious inscriptions run along the outer circular legend band and within the star points, rendered in elegant Maghrebi calligraphy. |
