| Reverse description | The crowned Hungarian coat of arms — featuring the traditional barry of eight gules and argent on the dexter and the apostolic double cross on the sinister — is centrally positioned and surmounted by the Holy Crown of Saint Stephen. Flanking the shield are vine branches with grape clusters on either side, while crossed wheat ears and a sheaf extend horizontally behind the shield, symbolising agricultural wealth. The date 1945 is incused on either side of the shield's base, and the denomination numeral '5' appears prominently in the lower central field beneath the shield, with PENGŐ inscribed below it in large letters. The mint mark 'BP.' is found at the base of the numeral, identifying the Budapest Mint. |
