Reverse description The reverse presents multiple horizontal bands of Arabic script filling the central field, typical of Ottoman provincial coinage of the late 17th century. The legend, struck in a bold and slightly crude hand characteristic of the Tripoli mint, references the sultan's titles and the mint name. Three pellets appear along the lower border, and the overall composition is enclosed within a roughly circular flan with irregular edges reflecting the hammered production technique.
