| Obverse description | Central field features a traditional Nepalese yantra-style grid design divided into panels bearing the royal name and titles of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev in Devanagari script. The central device is a trident (trishula) symbol within a circle, flanked by auspicious symbols including a sun, crescent moon, conch shell, lotus bud, and other royal emblems. The Bikram Sambat date 2052 appears at the bottom, and a beaded border runs along the rim. |
