Obverse description The numeral '5' appears prominently in the center of the field, flanked by the divided date '19' to the left and '72' to the right. Beneath the left portion of the date appears the mint mark, while the letter 'U' — the initial of the Governor of the Riksbank — appears beneath the right portion. The denomination 'ÖRE' is inscribed below the central numeral. The overall design is austere and typographic, consistent with Swedish coinage of the early 1970s.
