Obverse description Central field features the ornate interlaced royal cypher of Queen Margrethe II, composed of a stylised crowned 'M2R' monogram with elaborate calligraphic flourishes. The heraldic crown surmounts the monogram at the top of the design. The four-digit date is divided by the monogram, with the first two digits to the left and the last two to the right. Mint master and engraver initials appear in the lower field below the monogram, separated by a heart-shaped privy mark. The design fills the coin field to the inner rim with no legend.
Obverse script Latin

Reverse description The denomination numeral '5' is displayed prominently in the centre of the field, flanked on each side by five vertical parallel lines forming decorative borders. The country name 'DANMARK' arcs along the upper portion of the coin in a bold Latin legend, while 'ØRE' appears beneath the denomination numeral. The overall design is austere and typographic, with no figurative elements, emphasising clarity of denomination and national identification.
