Obverse description The central field features the crowned royal cipher of King Haakon VII, comprising the interlaced letter 'H' surmounted by the numeral '7', beneath a large Norwegian royal crown rendered in high relief. The four-digit date is divided by the monogram, with '19' to the left and the final two digits to the right, occupying the mid-field on either side of the cipher.
