Obverse description Crowned royal cypher of King Christian X, composed of the interlaced letters CX beneath a heraldic crown, occupies the central field. The mintmaster's initials (VBP for KM#814.1, or HCN for KM#814.2) and the mint mark appear at the lower left, while the date and the engraver's initials GJ are placed at the lower right. The design is set within a plain field with no surrounding legend, giving the monogram a bold, uncluttered presentation characteristic of early twentieth-century Danish coinage.
