The figure is set within a dotted or linear border. To the left of the enthroned Tyche appears the Greek numeral epsilon (E), denoting the value of 5 nummi. The composition reflects the distinctive local iconographic tradition of Antioch, where the Tyche type was employed on pentanummia throughout the reign of Justinian I.
