Comments

Hasbro licensed the Simpsons brand for a themed Monopoly set released in 2003, replacing Atlantic City properties with Springfield locations and swapping the standard Monopoly currency artwork accordingly. These notes were never legal tender, never intended for circulation, and have no numismatic standing — they are game components.

Collectors sometimes acquire them as Simpsons memorabilia rather than notaphilic items. The distinction matters.
