| Obverse description | Central field bearing four Chinese ideograms arranged in a cruciform pattern reading top to bottom and right to left, with a decorative cross at the centre intersection. The entire central device is enclosed within a continuous Arabic legend encircling the field. The bilingual inscription records the denomination and metal content in both Chinese and Arabic scripts, reflecting the dual Sino-Muslim administrative character of the Sinkiang ration coinage. The design is contained within a beaded inner border. |

| Reverse description | A sinuous five-clawed Imperial dragon rendered in high relief occupies the full field, its scaled body coiling dynamically amid stylised flames and cloud formations. The dragon's horned head faces forward at centre, with its claws outstretched and tail curling toward the lower field. A flaming pearl is depicted at the centre beneath the dragon's head, the traditional symbol of Imperial power and wisdom. The entire device is enclosed within a beaded inner border, with a plain outer rim. |
