Obverse description Intaglio-printed in carmine on greenish paper. The Imperial Arms of Brazil appear at right, while the left side carries an imperial crown with the monogram of Dom Pedro II; at upper center, an allegorical vignette of Agriculture is set within the decorative border. The denomination and the legend IMPERIO DO BRASIL are integrated into the layout alongside a printed serial number and a stamped banknote number.
