Obverse description The obverse features the coat of arms of Bosnia and Herzegovina centrally placed in the field, depicting a shield charged with a diagonal band bearing six fleurs-de-lis, flanked by elaborate mantling. Below the arms is a detailed depiction of the Old Bridge (Stari Most) of Mostar spanning a river, flanked by historic tower structures. The legend BOSNA I HERCEGOVINA curves along the upper periphery, with two small fleur-de-lis ornaments flanking the bridge scene at the lower left and right. The date 1998 is inscribed in the lower exergue.
