| Obverse description | Right-facing bare-headed effigy of King Wilhelm II of Württemberg, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and a full curled beard. The truncation of the neck is clean and unadorned, with the mint mark 'F' appearing at the base. The circular legend reads WILHELM II KOENIG VON WUERTTEMBERG, distributed around the upper and lower periphery, separated from the field by a continuous inner beaded border. The portrait is executed in a naturalistic academic style characteristic of late nineteenth-century German state coinage. |
