Obverse description Unadorned right-facing effigy of Kaiser Wilhelm II with short hair and a prominent mustache, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail characteristic of the Imperial German coinage series. The truncation of the neck is cleanly cut, with the mint mark 'A' appearing at the base below. A circular beaded inner border frames the design, with the circumferential legend reading WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KÖNIG V. PREUSSEN arcing around the upper and lower fields.
