Reverse description The reverse displays a radiant sun with stylized rays emanating outward from a central circular boss, within which the Tetragrammaton in Hebrew script (יהוה) is inscribed. The sun motif, a personal emblem associated with Karl IX, fills the square flan. The date numerals appear in the lower corners of the flan. The deeply struck, hammered relief is consistent with klippe production technique.
