| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in dark brown and red on a salmon-pink ground, the entire field occupied by an intricate guilloche underprint with repeating geometric rosette motifs and corner ornaments bearing the numeral '5'. The issuer's name 'Chemische Fabrik Griesheim-Elektron' arcs in Gothic blackletter across the upper portion above a central circular guilloche containing the large numeral '5' with the word 'über' beneath it. Large Fraktur lettering 'Gutschein' to the left and 'Fünf Mark' across the lower half complete the design, with a printed serial number in red at lower left and a further number at right. |
