The denomination numeral '5' appears in large Gothic typeface at each corner, with the title 'Gutschein' in ornate Fraktur script at the top centre. The central field is dominated by an elaborate violet guilloche underprint over which 'Fünf Mark' is rendered in bold Gothic lettering. The serial number is printed in red at the left margin, and two facsimile signatures appear at the lower right beneath the issuing authority text. |
