| Reverse description | The reverse, also printed in blue on cream paper, repeats the foliate outer border with corner '5' cartouches and carries the heading 'Kriegsgeld der Stadt Triberg' in Gothic blackletter at the top. The Triberg municipal coat of arms, with mural crown, is centred between horizontal guilloche bands bearing repeated '5+5+5' numerals, with the denomination 'Fünf Mark' in large ornate script to either side. A three-line redemption notice in smaller Gothic text occupies the lower portion, with the printer's imprint 'Univ.-Druckerei Poppen & Ortmann Freiburg i. Br.' at the foot. |
