| Obverse description | Green underprint with a central cartouche bearing the denomination numeral '5' to the left and a Fraktur script legend 'Fünf Mark' in the centre, flanked by two heraldic shield vignettes. The upper border carries the issuing authority inscription in letterpress, with a circular red official city seal (Siegel der Stadt Neumünster) affixed at lower left. Below the central vignette, a three-line redemption text in Gothic script is followed by the place and date of issue, four manuscript signatures with their respective official titles, and a red serial number at bottom centre. |
