| Obverse description | At center, the national coat of arms of the Republic of Azerbaijan is depicted in high relief: an eight-pointed star on a shield, with a flame motif at its center, flanked at the base by oak leaves on the left and a wheat ear on the right. The legend AZƏRBAYCAN RESPUBLİKASI curves along the upper periphery, while the denomination 5 MANAT appears in the lower field. Two eight-pointed star ornaments flank the denomination inscription in the lower exergual area. |
