| Obverse description | The central field features a large stylised crescent enclosing a geometric, Art Deco-inspired numeral '5' rendered in linear relief, behind which the National Coat of Arms of Azerbaijan is prominently displayed, depicting an eight-pointed star with a flame motif at its centre, encircled by oak and wheat branches. Two small eight-pointed star ornaments flank the lower field. The circular legend 'AZƏRBAYCAN RESPUBLİKASI' runs along the upper periphery in Latin script, while the denomination '5 MANAT' is inscribed along the lower border. |
