Reverse description The elaborately detailed crowned coat of arms of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies occupies the central field, supported on either side by two female figures in the baroque heraldic tradition. The shield, bearing the quartered royal arms, is surmounted by a royal crown and surrounded by the collar of a chivalric order. The denomination 5 LIRE appears in the lower exergue in small capital letters. The surrounding legend REGNO DELLE DUE SICILIE is distributed around the upper and lateral periphery of the coin.
