| Obverse description | The coat of arms of San Marino occupies the central field, depicting a crowned shield bearing three towers on three peaks, flanked by an olive branch to the left and an oak branch to the right, both rendered in low relief. The civic crown surmounting the shield features three prominent points. The circular legend reads 'REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO' along the upper periphery and 'LIBERTAS' along the lower periphery, the latter being the traditional motto of the republic. The design is restrained and heraldic in character, consistent with the standard obverse type used across San Marino's aluminium lira coinage of this period. |
