| Obverse description | Central field features the Cedar of Lebanon set within an ornate arabesque cartouche in mirror-polished relief. Flanking the cedar are all twelve zodiac symbols rendered in stylized script, with two inset green gemstones positioned at lower left and right. The denomination '5 LIVRES' appears prominently in the lower field alongside the Arabic numeral '٥' and the Arabic legend 'ليرات', while the date '2013-٢٠١٣' is inscribed at the bottom. The legend 'BANQUE DU LIBAN' curves along the upper rim, and the entire design is framed by an elaborate floral and vine border. |
