Obverse description Intaglio portrait of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in three-quarter right-facing view occupies the right portion of the note, set against a fine guilloche underprint with floral motifs in the central field. A large ornamental cartouche to the left frames the serial number, with the denomination numeral 5 repeated in the lower corners. Two signature lines appear beneath the issuing authority text, attributed to the BAŞKAN and BAŞKAN YARDIMCISI respectively.

Reverse description A panoramic intaglio vignette of the Manavgat Waterfall in Antalya province fills the central field, rendered with fine line engraving that captures the broad cascade of water, surrounding foliage, and a distant hillside landscape beneath a clouded sky. Tall trees with leafy branches frame the scene on either side, and the denomination numeral 5 appears in each corner. A continuous guilloche border band with ornamental scroll motifs runs along the lower margin beneath the vignette.
