| Obverse description | Central field features the denomination characters 五厘 (Five Li) in bold raised script, enclosed within a finely detailed wreath of grain stalks and floral sprays tied at the base, all within a raised inner circle. The peripheral legend reads 宣統年造 (Made in the Xuantong reign) at the top, flanked by stylized floral rosettes, with the exchange rate inscription 十二枚換銀一角 (Twelve pieces exchange for one jiao silver) at the base. The design is executed in high relief on a broad, smooth field characteristic of a pattern or proof striking. |
