Obverse description Printed in red-brown on plain paper, the obverse is entirely in Ottoman Turkish script arranged within an ornate letterpress border of interlocking guilloche rosettes and decorative corner medallions. A large circular tughra of Sultan Abdülhamid II occupies the upper centre, while the denomination and textual monetary guarantee are set in large calligraphic naskh script across the central field. Smaller circular seal vignettes anchor each corner of the inner frame.

Reverse description Printed in black on buff paper, the reverse carries a centrally placed circular seal in intaglio impression, bearing Ottoman calligraphic inscriptions — identified as the seal of Galip. Below the seal, a rectangular registration stamp reads 'Enregistré Par la BANQUE IMPÉRIALE OTTOMANE / CONSTANTINOPLE 1876', with a two-part serial number. The remainder of the field is unprinted, leaving the laid paper texture visible.
