Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription centered within the field, reading the mint formula and Hijri date. The text is presented in a formal Ottoman calligraphic hand across four lines, incorporating the invocatory phrase 'عز نصره' (May he be victorious), the mint statement 'ضرب في قسطنطينية' (Struck in Constantinople), and the accession year '١٢٩٣' (AH 1293). The inscription is enclosed within the same ornate scalloped border of alternating reeded arcs and rosette devices interspersed with six-pointed stars as seen on the obverse, with a fine beaded outer rim completing the design.
