Reverse description The quartered Royal Danish coat of arms occupies the centre of the field, surmounted by a large royal crown with cross finial. The shield displays the traditional Danish heraldic charges including lions passant, hearts, a lion rampant, and two wild men, divided into four quadrants by a cross. Flanking the shield on either side is a single large oak leaf sprig. The date is divided to the left and right of the crown in the upper field, and the denomination 5 KRONER appears in large letters along the lower arc within a double-line border.
