| Obverse description | Blue intaglio print on white paper, with the watermark window occupying the far left margin, above which the date year is printed and below which the serial number appears. A vignette at left carries a portrait of Fridtjof Nansen, rendered after a painting, with the crowned national coat of arms placed directly beneath it; the centre of the note bears the denomination in both numeral and word form, together with two facsimile signatures above their respective printed titles.
