Reverse description Central device features the Austrian Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, each head surmounted by an archducal crown, with a larger imperial crown above bearing a cross finial. The eagle's breast bears a quartered shield of arms representing the Habsburg hereditary and royal territories. Below the eagle, the large numeral 5 denotes the denomination, enclosed within an oval cartouche or circle. A continuous peripheral legend in Latin records the emperor's royal titles and the date of issue, distributed around the full circumference of the coin.
