| Reverse description | Central field contains a multi-line inscription in Urdu (Nastaliq script) within a raised inner circle, reading 'George VI, Kaiser-i-Hind, Zarb Bhuj' (George VI, Emperor of India, struck at Bhuj), with the Christian Era year below. The inner circle is surrounded by an elaborate decorative border of stylised foliate and leaf motifs in relief, forming a continuous wreath-like frame. The outermost border is a continuous row of fine beading. The overall design is purely epigraphic on the reverse, with no portraiture, reflecting the local artistic conventions of the Kutch princely mint. |
