| Obverse description | Central device consists of a crowned double-headed imperial eagle with plain breast, struck within a beaded circular border at the centre of the square copper plate. The denomination legend ПАТЬ КОПЕѢКЪ appears across the upper field, with the date 17 26 flanking the central eagle device to left and right. The mint name ЕКАТЕРИНБУРХЪ is inscribed along the lower field. The overall design is characteristic of the Russian square plate money coinage type issued under Catherine I. |
