| Obverse description | Central field features the elaborate interlaced cypher of Empress Elizabeth I surmounted by an imperial crown, the monogram rendered in an ornate Baroque script. The date 1757 is divided and placed to either side of the lower portion of the cypher. The entire central device is enclosed within a wreath of laurel and palm branches, tied at the base. |
