| Obverse description | Central field features a large Arabic tughra or calligraphic device, surrounded by an ornate wreath of olive or laurel branches encircling the entire design. Arabic inscriptions appear within and around the central device, referencing the Qu'aiti Sultanate authority. A floral or foliate ornament is visible at the top of the wreath. The overall style reflects late Ottoman-influenced calligraphic coinage typical of South Arabian sultanates of the period. |
