(Translation: Bank of China Small Silver Yuan Note / Five Jiao / Manchuria)
Reverse description The reverse is printed in blue and green, with two large symmetrical rosette guilloche medallions flanking a central denomination panel bearing the numeral '50' and the word 'CENTS'. The bank name 'BANK OF CHINA' arches across the top in bold lettering, 'MANCHURIA' appears in a panel at the bottom centre, and the date 'DECEMBER 1st 1914' is inscribed below the guilloche design. Two manuscript signatures are placed at the lower left and lower right, corresponding to the Accountant and Manager respectively.
