At its upper part there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine; on the background of the Mitrydat hill there is a bracelet made of archeological finds of Kul-Oba kurgan; on the hill both sides there are conventionalized depictions of Black and Azov Seas, as well as inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) 2000, 5, ГРИВЕНЬ (5/Hryvnias) and the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine.
