| Obverse description | The obverse features a central cross, the principal heraldic element of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine's insignia, with the Volodymyr trident (Sign of the Princely State of Volodymyr the Great) set within its centre and encircled by the Latin service motto OMNIA VINCIT VERITAS. Stylised continental outlines radiate from the central device, symbolising the global reach of the service's intelligence activities. The outer border of the coin field carries the agency's full name in Cyrillic — СЛУЖБА ЗОВНІШНЬОЇ РОЗВІДКИ УКРАЇНИ УКРАЇНА — with the first three words of the name additionally encoded in Morse code along the upper periphery. The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine — the SZR — was established in 1992 as a direct successor to the Ukrainian branch of the KGB's First Chief Directorate. This commemorative marks the agency's operations during active wartime conditions, an unusual circumstance for an intelligence service coin issue from any nation. Ukraine has periodically honored its security and defense institutions through the National Bank's commemorative program, particularly since 2022.
