| Obverse description | The obverse features a detailed relief depiction of the Lubart Castle tower (Vysoka Vezha), the medieval defensive keep of Lutsk Castle, rendered with fine architectural detail including arched windows, rusticated stonework, and decorative battlements. To the left of the tower, the denomination '5' and the inscription 'ГРИВЕНЬ' appear in the field, while the date '2010' is positioned to the right. The curved legend 'НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ' arcs along the upper rim, flanked at center top by the small trident arms of Ukraine.
